An explanation of several points.
Time scale. The tables include later entries, but generally speaking go up to 1837, when civil registration of births and marriages began.
ID numbers. These records have been entered as spreadsheets, which you can download to use, search and reorder as databases. I have given all baptism and marriages a unique ID number in order to make it easier to compile family trees. In the baptisms table, the C.ID (couples ID) relates to the C.ID in the marriage table. Father's or groom's IDs refer to the ID in the baptism table. I have made assumptions about some of these IDs which you may disagree with. If so, please contact me with corrections.
Dates. I have included a year column and a precise date column, because my spreadsheet is reluctant to recognise dates prior to the 20th century, but it has no problem ordering straightforward numbers (the year column).
Sources. Most records are derived from the IGI (IGI). Some are from actual parish records (PR). Some marriages are deduced (ded) from baptisms - I have entered them in order to assign an ID number to the couple. Some later entries are confirmed by entries in the index of the civil registers after 1837 (BMD)
If you have any entries to add to these records, please contact me.
Coverage. Some parishes have not been covered by the IGI and would need to be searched by reference to the original registers (some have been checked, of course). A map with a list of parishes not covered by the IGI is available here
